My admiration for the talent of Jamie Cullum came to me in 2005, when my son was born: what a difference that day made!
Around that time my husband suprized me  with Jamie's album 'Twenty Something' on DVD. Beside from his warm and versatile voice and songwriting talent I was equally smitten by his vibrant energy and creativity as a pianist: you do not only find him 'at' the piano, but also 'in', 'on' and - I am quite sure - 'under' it. Over the years my love for Jamie Cullum's music has - like my son ? - only gotten bigger. When I noticed his cover of Ariana Grande's 'Boyfriend', I instantly wanted to sing my own version; I really like the 'ready to dance melancholy' in the song. ​

B.C. I would perhaps never have worked on this project with Eric Abraham. I realise that I am very, very fortunate: Covid-19 offered me time and space to do and to reflect on what I find most precious in life. I know others did as well. Let's not rush into the life we've always known, let's not forget this space in time. Let's try a little tenderness. Behind each cloud, the sky is blue. Always... Hi,
I really hope you, your family and friends are doing well. 
Since a few weeks we are living in a strange world, directing us to an new 'normal'.
